Job Purpose:

 

The job holder is responsible for generating leads for the sales team to support them to attract new customers. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. Must be comfortable in generating interest and qualifying sales prospects.

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

Sales:

  • Demonstrate and provide information on promoted products/services
  • Create a positive image and lead consumers to fix appointments
  • Identify interest and understand customer needs and requirements
  • Proven working experience as a promoter/ Direct marketing executive
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Ability to understand customer needs and handle different types of personalities
  • Strong listening, communication, presentation and social skills

 

Event Management / Sales Launches:

  • Represents the company during exhibitions and shows where Emaar is participating or invited.
  • Participate in sales launches / events whenever required.

 

 

Customer Focus / Management:

  • Maintains and develops business with existing customers.
  • Handles all customers in a professional manner.
  • Promptly responds to all enquiries received.
  • Ensures high level of customer service.

 

Reports:

  • Creates pipeline reports for submission to line manager

 

Job Context:

 

The Promoter works closely internally with Sales, Operations and Property Handover teams

 

 

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

 

Qualification:

  • Minimum Graduate degree in relevant discipline/industry

 

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years experience as Indoor Salesperson in luxury retail, High end jewellery, Perfumes, Apparel, watches, Timeshare industry or Real Estate
  • Working at Duty Free/ Airport Kiosk/ Shopping Malls would be ideal.
  • Ready to work on rotational shifts.

 

Skills:

  • Excellent English Language skills required.
  • Knowledge of any other language is an added advantage.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and precisely (written & oral).
  • Good Computer skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Good Presentation skills.
  • Strong team player.
  • Ability to adapt to change.
  • Ability to negotiate.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
